You may have just recently (seconds ago) noticed some images in the postbit based on reputation. You receive these titles once you reach a certain reputation, as usual.

This system will, however, enlighten newcomers about who is trustworthy when it comes to posting, of course based on their rep count.

Anyways, the ranks and points needed to achieve them are as follows (note: more can/will be added in the future if necessary):

Neutral Ranks:
-- 0 Points

Positive Ranks:
-- 1 Point
-- 15 Points
-- 30 Points
-- 75 Points

Negative Ranks:
-- -1 Point
-- -15 Points
-- -30 Points
-- -75 Points

Please do not abuse the rep system to obtain a specific rank.

Remember, the rep buttons are in the bottom right-hand corner of a post! In the future, I believe IPB is expanding on the rep system, so look forward to that.

Ok so I'm just getting the hang of this and I have created a Facebook page which can be found at: http://www.facebook....&ref=ts&v=wall. If you could all please become a fan, even if I don't do anything interesting soon please still remain a fan as I need a certain amount of active users to submit the application to the facebook directory. Until then, this will remain at BETA stage. Only once I have submitted it to the directory, I shall make a new thread.

On a similar note, you can now also login to ConsoleCaliber with your Facebook account. Just go to the normal login page and click the button.

You can also configure your Facebook account to synchronise with ConsoleCaliber by going to your UserCP > Profile > Manage Facebook Connect. ~~Though I'm not sure if this is currently working, I have synchronised my account with it but the changes don't seem to have taken place.~~

Yeah so GTA Chinatown Wars was just released in the AppStore for US Owners, game was said to be released Fall of 09 but idk what happened so now its finally here

Looks as good as the PSP version and use the Touch Screen same as the DS Version and + with a virtual gamepad so yeah go check it out

WEll cost you $10 from the AppStore...or you can get it the other way...

I heard somewhere that an ipod touch can be used as a wifi transmitter? Does anyone know if this is true? Im talking about if my laptop is connected to the internet via an ethernet cable, could I then use my ipod touch to wirelessly transmit this internet and connect my xbox 360 to it? Probably a stupid question, but I want to be able to connect XBL and be on the internet on my laptop at the same time. Thanks

I have already e-mailed the current regular moderators about their current positions and my proposal which I am about state. I would like to recruit a few members to moderate a specific console section. They are to keep the forum active and keep it clean. They should submit around 1 article a week (not copy and paste, at least a few lines of own words, and a picture!), and a few discussion threads. If people are willing to do this, and it is a success, I will remove the moderator user group, and create more specific user groups, like "PS3 Team" or something like that.

There are no criteria or posting guidelines for applications, just make a reply in this thread, stating any preferences to forums you wish to moderate etc. Thank you.

The return of NBA Jam

ESPN reports that EA Sports has acquired the rights to bring back the NBA Jam franchise to the Wii in the not-to-distant future. The new version will, presumably, retain the original's two-on-two format and - let's hope - will also bring back the bells and whistles from the arcade and console classic, like the way players gain superpowers when they make three consecutive baskets ("he's on fire!") or the faux-Marv Albert commentary ("Jams it in!"). I just hope they stick to the two-man rule and don't adopt the "Championship Edition" substitution options. If this is tied to the 2011 season, I can already think of some pretty sick teams. Also: Yahoo's Ball Don't Lie blog totally called this about a year ago.

They are definitely NOT final because they still have a few faults ... but they definitely look better.
Thanks to fer-shirley for the better border idea!

I know for sure I'm gonna fix these bugs:
1. Reduce the amount of drop-shadow on the icons
2. If you look closely in the top and bottom corners of the icons you can see a small amount of miss-placed pixels. IDK how they got there but I need to fix that for sure as well.
(I just don't know how to lol)

Could someone point me in the right direction for fixing bug no.2?

Top 10 Essential Cydia Apps

There are a lot of apps out there for your jailbroken iPhone/iTouch. I have been using mine for a while now and here are what I think are the best apps from Cydia available.

Before I start, there are two notes. One is that these are all on the 3.0 firmware of the iPod and two these are in no specific order.

So those are what i think are ten of the many available apps that you can get. These are my favorite ten. You may have another opinion but this is my opinion. Now let's describe each of them for those who are new to this and don't know what they do.

*Winterboard- This nice app let's you customize the look and feel of your device. There are a lot of themes available for you to choose from. Some are free and some aren't. My top 3 favorite themes are Glasklart, Illumine, and Glass Orb. All of these themes are available free from Cydia. Open Cydia up, wait for it to load, tap Search, and type in the name of the theme in the Search Box and install it.

*Rock- This app is another version of Cydia and Icy. I like this one better than Cydia or Icy because it's a lot more stylish and loads faster than Cydia. You can make your own free account that saves the apps that you have installed on your device in case you restore it and jailbreak it again. So that means no more having to look for each of the apps you downloaded anymore!

*Installous- I know that everyone knows what this one does. That's right! This one little app is what most people jailbreak their device for. This is the app that lets you download free apps that are in the App Store for free! No matter what the price is! If someone bought it and uploaded it then you can download it and use it like normal! There is another app called AppSync that lets you sync the apps that you have downloaded into iTunes! This app isn't in Cydia when you first look for it. You have to add a repository. Open up Cydia, tap on Manage, tap on Sources, tap on Add and type this in the box that pops up: http://cydia.hackulo.us/ Then click Add Source and let it reload.

*Orbit- This handy little app lets you see all of your pages and click on whichever one you need to get to. This is a faster way of getting to a different page if you have a lot of pages. This app cost money but there is a way to get it for free. That will be at the bottom of this post.

*Make It Mine- This app lets you change what the top bar says. This changes where the time is at and where the word iPod (for iTouch) and the carrier is at (iPhone) to whatever you want. This app is available for free in Cydia.

*iProtect- This app is a life saver for me! This puts a lock code on whatever app you want to be secure. Such as your Videos, Photos, Safari, Cydia, etc. This app also costs money but there is a way to get it free as well.

*SBSettings- This app is extremely useful! This app opens a dialog box whenever you slide your finger across the status bar at the top of the screen. You can change your brightness setting from here, your Wi-Fi, etc. This is free and there are a lot of other add-ons in Cydia as well as themes for it.

*Backgrounder- Have you ever wanted to listen to a radio station app (like Pandora) but still use your other apps while it plays? Well here's the app you need! This puts an app in the background (hence the name Backgrounder) while you use any other app. Just hold down the Home button for 2-3 seconds until you see a message saying Backgrounding Enabled. To disable it just do the same thing. This is also free.

*MxTube- This app makes YouTube be the way it's supposed to be for the iPod. This app lets you download any video from YouTube and play them without any internet connection. Just simply search for the video you want and click either Stream or Download. You can choose to either download (or stream) the video in High or Low. I recommend High when you are on Wi-Fi and Low when you are on Edge or 3G (for iPhone).

*Five Icon Dock/Column/Row- The names say it all. This is actually three tweaks that you can find in Cydia. Search for them and install them. The first one lets you have 5 apps at the dock instead of just 4. Five Icon Columns lets you have 5 apps on one column and Five Icon Row lets you have 5 apps on one row. These are all free.

1. Go into Cydia
2. Tap on Manage
3. Tap on Sources
4. Tap on Edit
5. Tap Add and type this: http://sinfuliphonerepo.com/
6. Add that Source and then add this other repository: http://cydia.xsellize.com/
That's it! Now look through the sources you just added for Orbit and iProtect. If you don't find it in one repo then look for it on the other.

On my 1G Touch jailbroken, I'm experiencing a little problem.
The Dock never changes. It's always the original one.
When I try to disable it in Winterboard ... I can't since it's not there.
What's going on?

I first started this project in August 2007. I had no prior experience with website building or HTML. I was just a guy with a PSP. It was originally a website solely dedicated to providing PSP themes. At the time, it was hosted on free webs and was called �PSP-XMB�, and I used a free domain website to have the url �psp-xmb.co.nr�. Hours of hard work were put in and the website quickly became a hit due to its simple layout and the ability to download as many themes as you wanted. Eventually, the bandwidth exceeded Freewebs allowance, so I was forced to make other plans.

At this point, the thought of making or spending money is just something that hadn�t crossed my mind. I was only 16 so didn�t really have much money. I did some re-search and found a free webhost called 247ihost. They offered a decent monthly bandwidth limit and web storage all for free. There was no easy webpage builder, unlike with Freewebs. So I found myself a nice website template and added all the themes again, and a guestbook. The guestbook started becoming quite popular, and contained messages as simple as �thanks� to suggestions and requests. I remember one time I went away for a weekend and when I got back there were messages like �Where�s se_p800 gone?�

One day a message was posted on the guestbook from a guy who also owned his own Freewebs PSP site, except his website offered free PSP games, whereas mine offered themes. He suggested that we opened a forum together, so I accepted, and we opened our own forum with a free forum hosting company called FreeMyForum, which used a very old, basic version of PHPBB. We called this forum PSP-Portal. The forum kept growing, and we eventually decided that FreeMyForum didn�t have enough features to ever become much bigger. We moved our forum over to ProBoards, which is a free forum hosting website with its own software, funded by Google Adsense adverts, which had a lot more feartures.

The forum kept on growing, and by the time we had around 2,000 members I was approached by a business man who wanted to buy us our very own vBulletin license and domain name, so long as he was allowed to run his own adverts on it. My partner and I accepted this deal, and after we discussed it we decided to go with the domain customizemypsp.com. We were on this for about a month before our boss decided he didn�t get on with my partner, and wanted to exclude him from the project. Being loyal to my partner, I refused to let this happen so said �if he goes, I go� and so that was that. The boss then rid us both from the forum and sold it. We very briefly went back to our ProBoards forum, which luckily was still around.

I had posted this story on another forum I was a member on, and one of the members there said he had a vBulletin forum which isn�t being used and he would enjoy using it as the new home for my website. We purchased the domain customizepsp.co.uk. So, me my partner and this new guy started to make ourselves comfortable on our new very own vBulletin forum. It wasn�t too long before I was contacted by Jelsoft (company which owns vBulletin) saying that our website did not own a vBulletin license, and we were using a nulled version of vBulletin. The guy who claimed to own the vBulletin license denied knowledge of it being nulled, I left it at that and didn�t ask any questions. He transferred our forum over to PHPBB which is a free forum software, and this is where we stayed until January 1st 2008.

I had managed to raise enough money to purchase my own vBulletin license, so on January 1st 2008 we made the switch vBulletin. By this point we had a very strong community with active members who all knew each other, and the forum continued to grow. After almost a year of nothing going wrong (which was very unusual given the history) someone suggested changing the forum software to IPB. I looked into it and decided I quite liked the look of it. I made a poll asking the members what they thought and the majority vote was for the switch. So, I can�t remember when exactly the switch was made, it was either late December 2008, or early January 2009. The switch didn�t take too long, and we were comfortably settled down by mid January.

As usual I began to get board of things, and realised the PSP scene was not what it used to be. I decided I wanted to breach out into other consoles like the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and DS, so I came up with a new name: ConsoleCaliber. I purchased consolecaliber.com on May 20th 2009, and added some more forum sections for the different consoles. And since then nothing else really has changed.
